Nicholas Associates Engineering & Technical are partnering an award-winning organisation that itself on its reputation for quality and performance as one of the UK's leading manufacturers of bespoke electro-mechanical production machinery.
Despite the recent outbreak of COVID-19 this organisation has remained strong and is continuing to work to produce, service and maintain a range of critical equipment to a number of customers in the key sectors.
Summary
-Fault find, diagnose and repair a range of special purpose machinery.
-Deal with customer calls and queries, as well as offering remote support.
-Utilize workshop equipment Mills, Lathes, Fabrication, Bench Work
-Please note whilst the role is primarily work shop' based you will be required on occasion to offer technical support to customers on their premises.
Requirements
-Ideally you will be a time served engineer with relevant qualifications (C&G, NVQ, HNC, HND) in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
-Able to read and understand engineering drawings
-A knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
-Basic skills on lathe and milling machines in workshop environment
-An understanding of 3 phrase electrics, contactors, inverters and PLC's would be a distinct advantage.
-Confident dealing with customers both over the phone and on site.
-Full driving licence is required.
