Position: Trainee Technician

Location: Bridlington, North Yorkshire

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:15, Fridays 08:00 to 13:00

Salary: £25,368 + benefits

Nicholas Associates has an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Technician, with a progressive & innovative client in North Yorkshire.

Your role will include:

• Undertaking production work as agreed in the production planning meeting.
• Blending polymers/epoxies and over moulding the finished assembled product.
• Reporting any problems, errors, concerns or other defects with the production tasks to the Production Manager.
• Undertaking the day to day production requirements as set out by the AMIS system
• Reporting equipment that is not in good condition or without valid calibration dates/limits.
• Following the company's standard procedures.
• Ensuring safe working conditions & practices are maintained in relation to Health & Safety.

You will have:

• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work under pressure & multi-task
• A good understanding of mathematics
• A background in science & working with chemicals would be advantageous
• Must be able to drive & have own transport
