My client is an established reinforced concrete frame subcontractor, providing a top down, groundworks and heavily reinforced concrete frame service to the built environment. They work for leading international construction companies on projects across the UK.

The Trainee Site Manager will assist the Site Manager to ensure health and safety on site, material supplies are available, manage both direct employees and subcontractors, make sure risk assessments are completed.

The Role:

Assist the Project manager in the organisation and control of labour and sub-contractors
Keeping strong relationships with clients and other construction professionals
Managing and implementing safety inspections to adhere to health and safety guidelines
To enforce relevant QA and keeping records
Developing and checking site reports, designs and drawings
To review the work progression daily & to plan, prevent and resolve any problems alongside analysing, managing and mitigating risks

Experience Required:

Previous experience of working on a reinforced concrete frame project
Knowledge of the building process
SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
CSCS card holder
Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate at all levels
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
