• JOB TITLE: Toolmaker, Tool Maker, Tooling Engineer.
• LOCATION: Gloucester, Gloucestershire
• SALARY: 28,000 + Benefits Package
• SHIFT: Days, Mon-Fri (6am – 2pm)

Nicholas Associates Group (Engineering & Technical Division) are recruiting on behalf of a long standing client for a Toolmaker to join a global manufacturing organisation based in Gloucester, Gloucestershire.

KEY DUTIES:

• Service, repair and provide preventive maintenance on a range of press tools, inspection and assembly fixtures.
• Operate a range of manual machinery (Mills, Lathes, Saws, Drills etc.)
• Assist with fabrication and welding of equipment.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ideally you will be a time-served Engineer with qualifications (HND, HNC, NVQ or C&G) in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Previous experience within a Tool Room or Maintenance environment is desirable.
• Machining (CNC & Manual), Fabrication and Welding (MIG & ARC) techniques are a must.
• Must have worked with a range of metal or plastic materials.
