Position: Toolmaker

Location: Doncaster

Shifts: Perm Days Mon-Fri

Salary: 25,000 + Good Co. Benefits

Nicholas Associates (Engineering, Manufacturing & Technical) are recruiting for a Toolmaker on behalf of a large and highly profitable manufacturing business based in Doncaster.

The Role

• Manufacturing/maintaining tools and machine parts for the production team
• Ensuring quality control of parts and tooling to the appropriate specification
• Setting and operation of manual machines (lathe, mill, grinder)

The Person

• Time served apprentice trained in a toolroom environment
• Experience in machining within a toolroom environment including bench fitting
• Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings
• Able to specify cutting tools and ancillaries
