Nicholas Associates Group (Engineering & Technical Division) is recruiting on behalf of a long standing client for a TIG Welder to be based in our clients' manufacturing facility in Caerphilly.

RATES:

11.00 - 13.00 per hour – depending on experience

HOURS:

Initially the role be Days, however candidates must be flexible to move to a shift pattern that will include Days, Afternoons and Nights.

TIG WELDER KEY DUTIES:

• Weld to thin gauge on non-ferrous materials.
• Work to drawings to a high standard of finish/tolerance.
• Carry out own JIG set-up.
• The ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team.
• Predominantly TIG Welding, however will be required to carry out MIG and MAG Welding when required.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Ideally a time-served Welder/Fabricator
• Must possess a formal qualification in Engineering / Welding / Fabrication or related discipline.
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (MIG,TIG, STICK, MMA etc.)
• Must have experience welding to a very thin gauge
