Our client is a top 10 RC frame contractor based in Hertfordshire. The company are recruiting for a Temporary Works Design Engineer. Reporting to a Technical Director, you will be responsible for:
 

• 
  

  Reviewing design briefs / scope of works and carrying out design to suit.

• 
  

  Checking & advising on suitable materials

• 
  

  Providing input into method statements.

• 
  

  Visiting site to advice on tender schemes.

• 
  

  Producing advice as to the constructability and sequencing of the temporary works

Experience Required:

• 
  

  BSc/ BEng /HND/HNC in Civil Engineering

• 
  

  Previous Temporary Works Design experience in Formworks, Falsework, Piling, Foundations, Deep Basement and Ground Supports

• 
  

  A good all round background in Structural Design

• 
  

  Ability to produce Detailed calculations and drawings of Structural elements

• 
  

  Proficient in Auto-cad

• 
  

  Capable of meeting deadlines

• 
  

  Ability to work in a team environment

• 
  

  Work on own, as required and able to use your own initiative

• 
  

  Full UK Driving license

Client base is established with commercial and residential main contractors.
