Team Stores Coordinator

Job Purpose

To effectively coordinate resources to achieve conformance to maximise operational efficiencies whilst maintaining best possible standards in terms of Safety, hygiene, quality, food safety, legality, quality and cost.

Key Accountabilities

> To take full responsibility and accountability for everything that happens within a designated area.
> To be accountable for all issues relating to safety, hygiene, quality, food safety, legality quantity and cost.
> Ensure achievement of all relevant KPI's, including appropriate absence management through effective resourcing and taking corrective action.
> Conformance to management control and reporting systems.
> Identification and implementation of continuous improvement areas.
> To actively ensure that Key Operatives have the relevant skills and knowledge to maximise operational performance.
> To develop, motivate and encourage all team members to participate and contribute fully to the effective performance of the stores area.
> To carry out performance reviews on immediate team.
> Ensure effective communication processes are operating within the area.
> Adhere to and conform with all company policies and procedures.
> To manage all team members in an effective, professional manner.
> Conduct an effective handover at the beginning and end of every working pattern.
> deputise for Store Managers during their absences.
> To drive and install a Manufacturing Excellence culture.
> To be flexible across all stores departments, this includes drystore, coldstore and the despatch area.
> Within the drystore, ensure stock plans are available and order from outside stores as required. Liaise with the Planners, Store Managers as and when required.

Skills and Experience Required

> Prioritisation, action planning interpretation and monitoring, directing, coaching, motivating, investigation, analytical, communication
> Knowledge of safety, hygiene, quality, food safety, legality, quantity and cost
> Knowledge of internal and external systems, policies and procedures, legal requirements.
> Appropriate Fork Lift Truck licences.
