Nicholas Associates Professional (Engineering & Technical Division) is recruiting on behalf of a long standing client for a Stores Controller to join a dedicated team, based in their manufacturing plant in Sheffield.

HOURS OF WORK

• Mon to Fri 8am – 5pm

SALARY & BENEFITS

• 20,000 - 23,000 p/a
• Company Pension of 10%
• Holiday to service entitlement. Accrue an extra days holiday per two years' service (capped at 5 days)

KEY DUTIES

• Responsible for receiving, storing, assembling, packing and/or unpacking of goods
• Ensure deliveries are processed to the customer requirements
• Administer all paperwork as per defined procedures
• Responsible for part marking
• Progress parts in line with the production schedule
• Issue and kitting of works orders
• Raising Purchase Orders including allocating to correct project codes

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• A background in Stores within Maintenance/Engineering.
• Proficient with CMMS / ERP / MRP
• Computer literate – MS Office, Word, Excel etc.
• Able to work using initiative
• Able to work effectively within a team
