Nicholas Associates are partnered with a well-known residential groundworks & civil engineering company based in the South West who are looking to strengthen their engineering department by recruiting an additional Site Engineer. Working across multiple sites around the Wiltshire area you will be responsible for the following: 

• 
  

  Setting out for all elements of groundworks; 278 works, roads, kerbs, foundations, drainage etc.

• 
  

  Liaise with workforce and contractors regarding setting out information

• 
  

  Assist and prepare sketches for distribution and ensuring all teams understand the plans

• 
  

  Preparation of as-builts

• 
  

  All relevant Q&A with the project

• 
  

  Communicate well with all teams to ensure technical problems are overcome and queries answered

• 
  

  Manage other Site Engineers

Skills and experience required:

• 
  

  HNC or Degree in Civil engineering or Construction preferred but not required

• 
  

  Must have a minimum 3 - 5 years experience setting out on residential groundworks projects.

• 
  

  Experience in managing Junior/Assistant Site Engineers

• 
  

  Be proficient with GPS and Total Station

• 
  

  Be proficient with a range of design software including AutoCAD Or Civil 3D (preferred)

• 
  

  Full Driving Licence

• 
  

  Experience using Robotic Total station

• 
  

  Have excellent communication skills both written & verbal

• 
  

  A valid CSCS card
