Role : Site Based CBM Engineer
Location : Bradford

Job Purpose of a Site Based CBM Engineer

This role is site based, you will be an effective part of the on site service delivery team, by being trained to a competent standard of rotating and static equipment through various condition monitoring techniques.

To be considered for this role you will need to be trained to VAT Vibration level and have at least 5+ years mechanical experience.

Principle Accountabilities of a Site Based CBM Engineer

  • Collect and analyse data utilising various condition monitoring techniques ( electrical and mechanical ) and formulate the concise reports to the on site client, clearly identifying and potential failure modes and risk of client impact.
  • Provision of Lubrication Management services where required
  • Reporting first and second pass analysis
  • Deliver specific asset management services to improve clients equipment availability & reliability as directed.
  • Ensure that all site services are delivered & completed on time. in accordance with approved technical operational standards.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication and reporting to line management at all times
  • Assist in compiling, manage and follow method statements, COSH Assessments, Risk Assessments and SOP's are fully in place
  • Demonstrate to the on site client that a high level of service is being delivered in a professional manner at all times.
  • Be responsible for your own work
  • Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained in a serviceable condition.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience of a On-site CBM Engineer

  • Trained to VA2 Vibration Level and have at least 5+ Years of mechanical experience.
  • Good practical knowledge of both mechanical and electrical rotating equipment
  • Ability to promote, embrace and manage change
  • Effective Communicator
  • Self motivated and enthusiastic and be able to demonstrate your ability to ask questions of your peers to gain knowledge and experience
