• Shift Electrical Engineer
• Shifts (Rotating) - Mon-Fri 6-2, weekend off, Mon to Fri 8-4, weekend in 12hrs Sat and Sun, Mon-Fri 8-4, weekend off, Mon-Fri 2-10, weekend off,
• Salary: 35,855 – inclusive of shift allowance/

Nicholas Associates Group (Engineering & Technical Division) is recruiting for a Shift Electrical Engineer to join a world-leading cargo and distribution organisation, exporting products globally.

KEY DUTIES:

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance
• Provide mechanical and electrical breakdown on a range of plant machinery, overhead cranes and conveyor systems.
• Install of production equipment including electrical and pneumatic services as required.
• Support continuous improvement activities

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ideally, you will be a time-served Engineer, holding formal qualifications (City & Guilds, ONC, HNC and HND level) in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Essential experience will include working on: PLC, motors, motor controls and variable speed drives.
• Have a strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic/Pneumatic and Automation systems.
