Position : SHEQ Advisor (Regional)

Location : North West

Requirements:

  • Experienced SHEQ Advisor
  • Strong Mechanical or Scaffolding background preferred
  • Experience working in the power industry
  • Experienced and comfortable travelling to multiple sites in the north west
  • Minimum NEBOSH certificate
  • Member of IOSH or similar OHS certified body.
  • Experience in the petro-chemical industry or similar

Duties:

  • Onboard new employees during recruitment stage delivering company induction & D&A screening.
  • To ensure daily operations are compliant
  • Support, advise & monitor site working practices.
  • Support the development of RAMS in the planning stages of the scope through to execution.
  • To provide functional support to the Site Management and Operational Team advising on HSEQ standards on sites.
  • Collaborate with onsite HSEQ team, Operations Team, assessing and responding to site requirements.
  • Be visible onsite and engaging with employees developing a sound safety culture.
  • Support & review risk assessments and method statements ensuring they are established & effective.
  • Identify training needs and deliver bespoke packages.
  • Record actions from HSE management system audits, inspections and safety tours and monitor progress of implementation.
  • Advise and assist in unwanted event investigation alongside the operational team as required.
