The basics:

Job title: Sheet Metal Worker

Location: near Sandiacre

Industry: Precision engineering

Shift: Monday 3pm to 1am and Tuesday to Thursdays 3pm to 12:30am

Pay: first 3 months £34,155 + £21.32 shift premium = £38589, after 3 months rises to £36247 + £21.32 shift premium = £40681 per annum.

Overtime: 1.5 and double

Key responsibilities of the Sheet Metal Worker:

* Includes bending, cutting, pressing, riveting, marking out, measuring, assembly, deburr, stretching and inspecting all to tight tolerances

* Working to drawings, sketches and verbal instructions.

* Setting and operating machinery supplied for the manufacture of sheet metal components.

The ideal candidate / Sheet metal worker may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

* Time Served Apprenticeship

* Previous experience working with thin gauge sheet metal

Commutable from: Sandiacre, Derby, Long Eaton, Burton, Ilkeston, Nottingham, Heanor and surrounding areas.
