Nicholas Associates are recruiting for a Service Engineer, to join a committed team of engineers servicing of customer's products in the South West region. Ideally you will be a time served, multi-skilled engineer with experience of installing, servicing, repairing and maintaining electro-mechanical, temperature-controlled equipment based in Cambridgeshire or surrounding areas.

KEY DUTIES

• Fault find and diagnose on equipment
• Metalwork fabrication (preparation of simple components)
• Electrical wiring
• Pneumatics/hydraulics
• Configuration of temperature controllers and recorders.
• Thermocouple replacement.
• Contract inspection and reporting.

SKILLS & EXPIRENCE

• Suitable candidates will ideally be from an industrial background and have a minimum of C&G or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics/drawing and experience with wiring special purpose machinery.
• Site installation and accreditation to 18th Edition wiring regulations would be advantageous.
• Valid passport holder and clean driving license required for occasional international or UK travel.

SALARY & BENEFITS

• Basic salary circa 30,000 - 35,000 based on experience and qualifications.
