Senior Process Technologist – NPD - 30k

Our client a market leader within their field are looking to recruit an experienced technologist to join their team. The main purpose of this role is to scale up new products into the factory and throughout the business in an effective manner.

Duties to include:

• Work closely with the customer and adhere to deadlines
• Engage with key stakeholders throughout the site and communicate effectively during each project
• Effectively document all stages of NPD
• Attend site handover meetings once new products are developed and raise any concerns
• Liaise with the planning department to book in factory trials
• Organize the full process within the factory from raw materials, nutritionals, micro testing, freezing etc
• Issue trial reports and communicate effectively in review meetings

Ideal Senior process technologist candidate:

• Have effective communication
• Be analytical
• Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Have in depth knowledge of food manufacturing and the processes that go with it
• Strong self motivation

Required qualifications:

• L3 HACCP
• L3 Food hygiene
• Strong computer literacy
• Degree or equivalent ( preferably food process relating)
• Full UK driving license
