Our client is a privately owned civil engineering sub-contractor that provides groundwork and civil engineering solutions to a wide range of Tier 1 main contractors. The company undertakes contracts ranging up to 20 million and carry out all aspects of groundworks.

They are looking for a Senior Estimator that has experience of working on groundworks projects, this is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to progress in their career and work with a strong team on various projects.

Role and responsibilities of the job include but not limited to:

Prepare estimates with the necessary level of detail for all design stages
Manage job specific estimating teams in the assembly and submission of bids
Review estimate assignments to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to formal submission.
Consult with clients, architects, subcontractors, and material suppliers to discuss and formulate estimates, effect cost reductions, and resolve issues.
Study specifications to assist the operations team in planning procedures for construction
The suitable candidate will need to have previous experience within the commercial groundworks sector, the successful candidate will need to have shown a good length of service to previous employers.
