Job Title – Technical Sales Manager – Power Generation

Salary – 40-50K Basic

Location – UK Wide

Nicholas Associates Group (Engineering & Technical) are recruiting for a Technical Sales Manager for our client, a well established controls business within the Power generation industry

This position has emerged due to an increase in supplier inquiries and increases in industry demand. This coupled with the business long term plans, it’s an ideal opportunity to join a genuine market leader. This is the ideal chance for a commercially savvy engineer with good communication skills to move into a technically focussed sales role.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Liaising with current clients on the best technical solution to their requirements

• 
  

  Technical and engineering consultation.

• 
  

  A mixture of home based and field based client meetings

• 
  

  Targeting the diesel generator, back up power and stand by power markets.

Required Skills and Experience

• 
  

  Understanding of the Power generation market

• 
  

  The ability to build relationships with clients and maintain credibility

• 
  

  Travel flexibility – UK wide and home working

• 
  

  Knowledge of power generation controls is a bonus
