Job Title: Quality Inspector
Hours of work: Permanent days
Location: South Yorkshire
Nicholas Associates Group (Engineering & Technical Division) is recruiting on behalf of a long-standing client for a Quality Inspector to be based in our clients' manufacturing facility in South Yorkshire.
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and ensuring that that all measurements and tolerances are meeting customer specifications
- Conduct Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR's), FAI, PPAP inspections on products and components
- In-process components to inspection plans sampling
- Calibrating measurement equipment in accordance with the calibration schedule to maintain calibration records
About you:
- Experience working in a Manufacturing/Engineering environment
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Strong attention to detail
- An excellent level of IT ability including word, excel and outlook
- Ability to multi-task and manage a busy workload
- A background in Metal cutting, Metal forming or Welding and Fabrication would be beneficial
