The Basics:

Role: Quality Inspector

Location: Heanor

Position: Permanent

Basic salary: £16.97 per hour / £34,415 per annum + overtime = earnings of £40000 and upwards achievable

Hours: Monday-Thursday (7.30am-4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-2.00pm)

Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, 13 weeks company sick pay, 4% pension contribution.

Overview:

We now require a Quality Inspector to join the inspection department. You will be tasked to inspect fabricated components with hand held measuring tools associated with a precision engineering environment. Working in a modern purpose-built manufacturing facility for a high-end precision engineering business.

The ideal candidate / Quality Inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time Served Apprenticeship - beneficial
  • Competent at reading engineering drawings
  • Competent dimensionally checking precision engineered parts against a drawing using hand held measuring tools such as Verniers, calipers, measuring tapes etc.

Commutable from: Eastwood, Ripley, Heanor, Alfreton, Pinxton and surrounding areas
