Nicholas Associates (Engineering & Technical) are recruiting on behalf of a well established and growing precision engineering client in Sheffield.

The Role

The Quality Engineer will be part of a small Quality team establishing and maintaining quality standards across the business;

• Assist in maintaining site Quality Management Systems including internal and external audits and process walkthroughs
• Liaison with both customers and suppliers on Quality related issues
• Involvement in continuous improvement activities
• Review of both customer and regulatory requirements to ensure continued compliance
• Involvement in FAIR processes
• Investigation of Root Cause and support of NPI activities
• Compilation of all relevant documentation

The Person

Nicholas Associates would be interested in speaking to candidates who can demonstrate;

• Experience of Quality gained within a precision manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and experience of established quality standards such as TS16949 etc.
• Knowledge and experience of Quality methodologies such as;
• APQP
• SPC/MSA
• PPAP
• FMEA (Design & Process)
• Root Cause Analysis
• 5 Whys & Fishbone
