The basics:
Job Title: Quality Engineer
Pay: up to £40,000
Shift/hours: Monday to Thursday flex start times between 7am and 8am and finishing at 4pm or 5pm - early finish Fridays 12:00 or 12:30.

Overview:
Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we now require a Quality Engineer to the join the quality department which consist of Quality Director, Quality Manager, Senior Quality Engineers, Quality Engineers, Quality Inspectors and CMM.
Overview of responsibilities:
· Support the Quality Manager in maintaining certifications.
· Conduct product and system audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer-specific requirements.
· Compile documentation packs to support product delivery and traceability.
· Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine quality standards.
· Apply First Article Inspection techniques in line with AS9100 requirements
· Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the business
· Use quality tools to detect, contain, and investigate non-conformances, ensuring robust corrective actions are implemented
· Define and apply process control methods, including identifying critical control points and developing work instructions
The ideal candidate / Quality Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
· Previous experience working within a quality engineering role focused towards manufacturing and ideally highly regulated parts such as Aerospace, Automotive, Rail.
· Knowledge of machining and fabrication techniques for metal components
· Knowledge of AS9100, ISO14001 & NADCAP.
· Knowledge of Process flow charts PFMEA & PPAP.
