My client is a national manufacturing business in the filtration industry. Due to a significant uplift in order and an increased forecast, they are looking to add a Quality Controller with a manufacturing background to their team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the principal objective of the role is to ensure that products meet the required standards, are consistent and meet both external and internal requirements, coordinating the internal activities to ensure quality standards are achieved.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Maintain and improve the Quality and Quality Systems
• Maintain the Quality Management Systems in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015
• Workload management to meet business delivery requirements
• Maintain a good level of housekeeping and observe all health and safety requirements
• Maintenance of the department KPI's
• Solve day to day quality / inspection queries as well as answering customer issues
• Monitor internal scrap and rework
• Research with external resources ensuring effective information gathering an planning for new legislation
• Support group quality in relation to key legislation
• Be accountable for effective identification of global product packaging requirements, internal testing, process control verification, identification of effective working processes, pack copy processing and creation of specification and test methods

39 hours per week. Mon to Thur, 8am – 4:30pm and Friday, 8am – 3:30pm.
