The basics:

Role: Quality Assurance Engineer  - Document Controller

Contract: Maternity cover 6 to 12 month Fixed term contract

Location: Ripley

Salary: £28000 to £33000 per annum

Hours: Monday-Thursday (7.30am-4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-2pm)

Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, 13 weeks company sick pay, 4% pension contribution.

Overview:

We now require an additional Quality Assurance Engineer  to join the documentation control team working closely with the project team to ensure compliance and accuracy of critical documentation.

Working in modern purpose built manufacturing facilities for a company that manufacture precision engineered components. As the Quality Assurance Engineer  you will be tasked to manage and control all documentation relating to precision manufactured components and assemblies.

The ideal Quality Assurance Engineer  will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:

1. Excellent inter-personal skills.

2. Well Organised.

3. Experience of working with technical and quality documentation

4. Competence in MS Office applications (Word and Excel)

5. Good working knowledge of ERP Systems

6. Capable of working un-supervised and using own initiative.

7. Good eye for detail with a methodical approach to the task in hand.

8. Good presentation skills

9. Knowledge of the precision engineering industry beneficial

10. British national as you will be working with sensitive contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. To ensure all project related documents are controlled in line with the Quality Management System.

2. Quality assurance checking of all incoming documentation (internal and external) to ensure right first time.

3. Compilation of documentation packs to support delivery of product to the customer.

4. Submit completed documentation packs to the Quality Engineering team for final review.

5. Ensure timely resolution of incorrect documents.

6. Distribution of documentation to the required personnel or departments as required.

7. Copying, scanning, storage and archiving of documentation packs to customer requirements.
