Job Title – Quality, Compliance and Digital Manager

Location – Liverpool

 

Established in 2018, we offer a comprehensive range of engineering services focused on facilities, energy and construction. Our primary offerings include consultancy services, M&E design, project delivery, facilities management, and energy services. We provide these services with a strong emphasis on sustainability and decarbonisation, to support our clients in transitioning from conventional power and heat generation to low carbon and renewable energy solutions.

We are headquartered in Liverpool and work with clients across the UK.

The position, reporting directly to the group GM, has emerged due to a rapid increase in business enquiries and growth plans. Therefore, we are seeking to add an exceptional member to our team. What’s required is a highly motivated, experienced person with a track record in Quality control and compliance. This role is primarily concerned with maintaining, monitoring and improving the current Quality Management Systems (QMS) as well as all associated current and future processes.

Liaising with senior management, staff, and stakeholders to ensure the QMS is optimised with continuous improvement techniques consistently applied.

Ensuring contractual and statutory obligations in reference to document control and record keeping are fully compliant.

Acting as the key point of contact for external quality ISO accreditors. In turn carrying out regular quality and compliance audits on all systems and departments.

 

Key Responsibilities


  • Maintain company's quality procedures, standards and specifications maintaining external quality accreditations year on year.
  • Understand customer and client needs and requirements to continuously improve effective quality control processes
  • Liaise with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
  • Set standards for quality & compliance
  • Ensure that service provision meet both international and national standards
  • Improving waste reduction and increase efficiency
  • Define and re-define quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
  • Maintain and continuously improve controls and documentation procedures
  • Monitor and effectively critique performance by gathering relevant data and produce statistical reports including complete digitisation.
  • Review and critique existing policies and make suggestions for changes and improvements with effective implementation techniques.
  • Performance measurements and identify any areas of weakness, recommending and implementing improvements
  • Analysis and assessments of the effectiveness of changes made
  • Proactively seek opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures
  • Lead and key point of contact on external accreditation for quality and other standards
  • Attend Senior Management team meetings to report on all above matters

 

 

Required Skills and Experience


  • Proactive and conscientious with a close eye for detail.
  • Up to date with all modern techniques and digitisation.
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and bespoke IT software systems
  • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
  • Certification of quality control and full training (ISO 9000, ISO14001, ISO15001 etc.)
