Role: Project Manager

Location:Hull based company

East Yorkshire, Hull, Beverley, Leeds, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, M62, North Lincolnshire

Salary: Discussed upon application but likely to be 40-50,000 plus benefits

Job Role :

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will sit as part of the Operations Delivery Team and will be responsible for delivering multi-disciplinary projects. This will include ensuring that projects are delivered to time, to budget, to specification and in accordance with all legal and health & safety requirements


Role and Responsibilities :

Arrange and attend Internal Project Meetings, lead meetings to progress projects effectively
Agree and understand project objectives, financial, contractual, programme and quality are met.
Able to project manage several projects at any one time, ensuring Site Managers manage daily site activities.
Set clear project objectives
Able to organise and manage the various subcontractors and internal operatives working on projects.
Prepare and agree valuations, variations, contractors meetings & reports.
Understand CDM requirements as principal contractor, ensuring Health & Safety is always maintained
Produce, update and maintain the project programme of works, using IT or other systems to keep track on people progress and report to Operations Manager on a regular basis.
Comply with the requirements of the Company Quality Management System.

Qualifications and Experience :

Relevant qualifications in an engineering discipline and experience of working on Capex projects
Knowledge and understanding one or more of civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering
Experience of JCT and NEC contracting is beneficial
Experience of MS Project is preferred
