Nicholas Associates are working with a leading civil engineering contractor who provide groundworks, infrastructure, roads & sewers services to Top 100 House Builders across the UK.

The company are recruiting a Project Engineer to manage large-scale infrastructure / 278 Works project in the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

· Attending programme meetings

· Liaising with Local Authorities and Highways Agency to sign off 278 work agreements

· Setting out roads, infrastructure, 278 Works

· Supervising Junior Site Engineers

· QA checks and maintaining accurate site records

· Interpreting technical drawings and specifications

· Liaising with project managers, clients, and design teams

· Ensuring health and safety standards are met across the site

Requirements:

· BSc or HNC in Civil Engineering (not essential)

· Previous experience on residential groundworks, infrastructure, 278 Works projects

· Proficient with setting out equipment

· Leica machine control experience and creating models

· Proficient in cad software (not essential)

· Full UK driving licence
