Production Planner - 12 months+

Supply Chain Planner

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of Hull's leading manufacturers initially as an Interim production Planner (12 months+).

The role

As Interim production Chain Planner you will be responsible for supporting stock schedules and service targets. You will organise the production in line with the customers' needs and the financial business plan.

Duties

  • Review the sales forecast daily and weekly highlighting any issues
  • Convert the sales forecast into achievable production and material plans ensuring that it is always cost effective
  • Daily contact with suppliers discussing and resolving issues with product and or availability
  • Report on stock whether it be raw materials or the finished product
  • Hold reviews regularly with suppliers
  • Work primarily in the office however calls and decisions may need to be made out of office hours.
  • Review new product costings

Experience/skills required

  • Previous experience of ERP/MRP software
  • Knowledge of supply chain, sales and operational planning
  • Experience of KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to influence
  • Presentation skills
  • Ability to work within a fast paced environment
  • Sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Ideally educated to degree level
  • Immediate start available for the right person
