The basics:

Job Title: Production Operative
Role: Permanent
Environment: Manufacturing
Location: near Broxtowe - Nottingham
Shift:
Days: 0700-1530 Mon-Thurs; 0700-1230 Fri.
Afternoons: not regular and approx. working every 6-8 weeks:- should you prefer to work afternoons this can be discussed
Afternoon shift: 1400-2230 Mon-Thurs; 1100-1630 Fri.
Note:
In future, we anticipate the requirement to work night shifts - so anyone taking on the role must be prepared to do these: 2000-0530 Mon-Wed; 2030-0530 Thurs.
Pay:
Days: £12.82
Afternoons: £16.02
Nights would be paid at £17.05 should a requirement be needed.

Earnings: £25,000 minimum (working days only) with earnings of £30,000 and upwards achievable due to the afternoon shift premium.

Benefits: 33 days holiday, Bonus, Pension scheme (5% employer contribution), Death-in-service payment (4x salary)

Overview:

Working in first class manufacturing facilities for a company that have production sites across the world we now require additional Production Operative to join business.

This is a permanent role employed directly to the company who can offer stability due to the products that they make.

Overview of duties:

• Picking and sorting of product from the machinery
• Boxing and bagging ready for dispatch
• Aiding the machine setters - ensuring material availability
• Working on the clean room to finish the product
• Machine minding

The ideal candidate / Production operative may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Previous experience working in a production environment - packing, bagging and boxing ready for dispatch.
• Worked in hands on production role - ensuring material availability for production.

Nottingham, Derby, Long Eaton, Heanor, Ilkeston and surrounding areas.
