We are currently looking for a Production Manager for an expanding Fresh Produce Company based in North Kent. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the Fresh Produce industry and be able to facilitate change within a large organisation.

Job Description:-

- Manage the Pack-house manning levels.

- Facilitate change in procedures, policies and culture.

- Weekly meetings and reporting.

- Liaise directly with suppliers to meet their individual requirements.

- Set performance targets for the Pack-house team.

- Ensure that Health & Safety procedures are compliant.

- Manage agency staff according to daily, weekly and monthly needs.

Job Requirements:-

- Good working knowledge of the Fresh Produce industry is essential.

- Management of a large pack house environment with varying manning levels.

- Ability to manage a team and engage them fully in Company strategy.

- Excellent communicator at all levels.

- Good knowledge of Food Safety Standards.

- Good Health & Safety standards.

Salary:-

45000 to 50000 DOE
