Position: Procurement Manager

Location: Leeds

Salary: 45,000 - 60,000 + Excellent benefits including bonus and onsite gym

Nicholas Associates (Engineering, Manufacturing & Technical) are recruiting for a Procurement Manager on behalf of a great Engneering business.

The Role

• Taking responsibility for all tendering stage procurement activity with regards to factored goods such as mechanical seals, motors etc.)
• Working alongside the Tendering team to achieve optimal pricing is achieved during the tender process
• Ensuring offers are compliant in terms of specification and pricing is confirmed
• Liaise efficiently with Engineering and Tendering teams to ensure any technical queries are addressed during the tender process

The Person

• Relevant qualifications in either Purchasing or Engineering
• A background in the purchasing of factored goods i.e. seals, lubrication systems, motors, turbines etc.
• Strong experience in negotiating supply agreements and drafting supply contracts
