Job Title: NDT Inspector

Pay: Grade A: £17.88, Grade B: £18.56, Grade C: £19.26, Grade D £20.62

Shift/hours: Late Shift - Monday to Wednesday 16:30 to 02:30 and Thursday 16:30 to 01:30

Location: Redditch

Industry: Manufacturing

Holidays/benefits: Production Bonus Scheme, Pension, Death in Service Benefit - 2 x annual salary, Additional Annual Leave Entitlement, 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year.

Overview:

Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we now require a NDT Inspector (level 2 or above) to the join the business.

Overview of responsibilities:

· Perform inspection operations (DPI and visual) in full accordance with approved procedures.

· Ensure all NDT equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and suitable for use.

· Conduct control checks and tests in line with procedural requirements.

· Interpret and evaluate test results against defined acceptance criteria.

· Produce work instructions for review and approval by the Level 3 engineer.

· Manage workflow effectively to meet production schedules and priorities.

· Prepare and authorise product test reports to the required standard.

· Achieve and maintain Level 2 certification in the relevant Non‑Destructive Testing method(s).

· Carry out tests and inspections to verify product conformity to customer specifications and technical definitions.

· Ensure all parts are processed according to business priorities and completed within required timelines.

The ideal candidate / NDT Inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Knowledge of machining and fabrication techniques for metal components
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO14001 & NADCAP.
• Previous experience as an NDT inspector at level 2 or above
