Do you have previous experience using air powered hand tools - for example, hand grinders.

Would you be competent at finishing off metal components - using hand tools to polish and deburr metal?

The Basics:

Role: Mechanical Operative - Assembly and Finishing department

Location: Ripley

Hours: Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-12.30pm)

Pay: £14.40 per hour

Overtime: Paid at x1.5

Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, 13 weeks company sick pay, 4% pension contribution.

Role: Permanent

Overview:

We now require a Mechanical Operative to join the metal finishing department.

As the Mechanical Operative you will be tasked to finish precision engineered components working to tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate / Mechanical Operative may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Mechanically competent working with hand tools - grinders, ratchets etc.

Commutable from: Ripley, Alfreton, Hucknall, Pinxton, Nottingham, Derby and surrounding areas
