Job Title: Mechanical Fitter - Maintenance department

Industry: Manufacturing

Shift: Monday to Friday - 6.00am-2.00pm, 2.00pm-10.00pm, 10.00pm-6.00am

Pay: £40,880 per annum plus circa £3000 shift premium = £43880 per annum + overtime = earnings of £48000 and upwards achievable

Holidays and Benefits: 24 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 25 after year 1 and 26 after 2 years, Healthcare cash plan, Pension is 3.5% employer 4.5% employee.

Overview:

Working in large manufacturing business that have sites across the globe, we now require an Mechanical Fitter to join the team.

Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter role:

  • To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns

The ideal candidate / Mechanical Fitter may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Previous experience working in a mechanical role - competent changing like for like for like parts - stripping and rebuilding machinery.

Commutable from: Alfreton, Clay Cross, Derby, Mansfield, Chesterfield, Belper and surrounding areas.
