Position: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Bradford

Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 + Benefits

Nicholas Associates (Engineering, Manufacturing & Technical) are recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer on behalf of a specialist, Bradford based Engineering business.

• Produce detailed designs for products within the parameters of the customer requirements
• Liaise with the production team to ensure manufacturability of designs to the require timescales
• Provide the production team with a comprehensive pack for each product including technical drawings, BOM's etc.
• Maintain a library of both new and existing design files

The Person

• Recognised qualifications in Mechanical Design/Engineering
• Experience in the use of 3D Solidworks
• An understanding of manufacturing processes such as fabrication, machining and pneumatic/hydraulic systems
