An exciting opportunity has become available for a Materials Coordinator working for the UKs biggest specialist seafood brand based in Grimsby.

Main duties;

• Raise Purchase Orders to cover the orders identified via MRP in QAD
• Liaise with suppliers on delivery details to ensure accuracy error free and timely transactions
• Review material status and progress, chase as required
• Track and monitor the dispatch and delivery timings and quantities and highlight exceptions with suppliers, logistic providers and factories.
• Progress contingency plans for failed orders.
• Ensuring the appropriate communications and updates to systems are carried out following rejections. Delisting products or launches.
• Assist in the resolution of invoice queries and maintenance of QAD EE data
• To plan materials within portfolio of items
• Working towards/ maintain set KPIs for stock quantity and value

Candidate requirements;

• Degree in Logistics or related degrees
• Highly computer literate and numerate
• Have high communication and interpersonal skills
• Good Problem solving skills
• You must be process adherence and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Experience in a similar role would be an advantage
