Nicholas Associates has an exciting opportunity to work for an innovative & award winning client, within the tech industry.

Role Overview

We're looking for a highly proactive, entrepreneurial-minded Marketing Specialist who'll help our client expand their global reach by developing and executing targeted strategies to assigned industry sectors to drive marketing penetration. You will not only develop targeted marketing strategies but also take an active role in executing campaigns, creating content and building relationships in order to drive adoption of our client's revolutionary technology.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the marketing strategy for assigned industries, proactively seeking new opportunities to drive adoption of our client's technology

Conduct deep research to understand industry needs, behaviours and pain points by engaging with both prospective and existing customers through surveys and interviews, field visits, analysing pre-sale inquiries and product usage data, attending tradeshows and events, monitoring social media conversations and sentiment, and engaging with communities

Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers, trade associations, software partners, media organisations in order to identify opportunities for further market penetration

Develop data-driven messaging that communicates our client's value proposition specific to different customer personas, ensuring that messaging is relevant, highly compelling, and engaging to industry professionals

Act as the internal expert on assigned industries, working closely with the wider marketing team (advertising, content, influencer marketing) and in conjunction with events, business development and training to ensure an integrated approach

Lead the development of all marketing materials, content and assets e.g. website and email content, video content, tradeshow/event materials, ensuring that they are on-brand and effectively communicate our client's value proposition

Identify and secure coverage through industry publications, paid and unpaid advertising and editorial opportunities, relevant awards, webinars, podcasts, and other PR opportunities in order to boost awareness and credibility of our client's brand

Track and report on activities and key performance indicators, e.g. website traffic, sales, leads, inquiries, customer satisfaction

Requirements

3+ years experience in marketing, developing and executing successful marketing campaigns

Competence in market research, analysing data and ability to use data to drive marketing decisions and strategies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to plan clear and persuasive marketing materials

Desirable

Experience with product launches

Experience in the technology industry
