Nicholas Associates (Engineering & Technical) is recruiting on behalf of an innovative and exciting manufacturing client for a Manufacturing Engineer at their flagship production site in Leeds

The Role

Working within a fast paced and modern manufacturing business, the Manufacturing Engineer will be;

• Responsible for defining, establishing and improving manufacturing processes in order to meet business needs in terms of;
• Output
• Safety
• Cost
• Quality
• Developing Continuous Improvement projects to deliver improvements
• Developing PFMEA knowledge and usage throughout the business and contributing to product design to reduce costs
• Utilising structured problem solving techniques to resolve technical issues and non-conformances

The Person

You will be an experienced Manufacturing Engineer looking for the opportunity to work for a market leading and highly progressive organisation that is keen to develop its people.

You will be able to demonstrate;

• A background in Manufacturing Engineering
• Experience of working on NPI projects (APQP/PPAP)
• A good track record of innovative problem solving
