Are you a competent Manual Machinist?
This is a great opportunity to work for large, well-structured business who have sustained year on year growth. The role will involve fitting and assembly work Marking out castings, producing Jigs and Fixtures, using hand tools and inspection equipment such as Verniers/Micormeters.

The basics
Job Title: Manual Machinist / ToolMaker Precision Engineering
Location: Newark on Trent
Salary: up to 27,000 base salary + OT = earnings of 35,000 and upwards
Shift: Mon-Thurs 7:30am 3:30pm and Fridays 7:30am-12:30pm
Overtime rates: Mon-Sat time and Sundays Double time

The ideal Manual Machinist will possess as many of the following as possible in order to strengthen the application:
- Time Served Apprenticeship
- Competent to run multiple machines Highly beneficial if the candidate can operate a number of machines in this machine shop precision engineering environment.
- Competent to set and operate manual milling machinery such as Milling, Turning, Grinding
-Strong hands on assembly skills or experience
-A strong mechanical aptitude
