Are you a competent Manual Grinder?

Do you have the know how and experience to machine precision engineered parts in a small batch machine shop environment? (Not mass production runs but more engineering and design minded machining where you will have to use a true engineering mind to produce the parts)

The basics:

Location: Alfreton
Job title: Grinder
Work environment: Precision engineering parts up to 700mm in diameter and small batches
Contracted hours per week: 39hr anything over paid at Overtime rates
Shifts and Pay options:
Mon-Fri 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm up to 15 per hour
Mon-Fri 10pm-6am up to 16 per hour
Mon-Fri 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am up to 15.50 per hour

Earnings of 35,000 and upwards achievable with OT

The role/expectations:

We are now looking for a competent manual grinder, who can machine large parts in a small batch work precision engineering environment.

The ideal Manual Grinder will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:

Time Served Apprenticeship
A machinist used to small batch work
Aerospace and precision engineering background

Location: Alfreton Commutable from Alfreton, Sutton-In-Ashfield, Clay Cross, South Sheffield, Chesterfield, Nottingham, Derby, Mansfield and surrounding areas.
