The Role

The successful MD will provide a strategic and operational management of brand new region for the company, leveraging their reputation and scale.

Main Responsibilities

Management of a growing division, covering all aspects of the business.
Delivery of a pipeline of work opportunities to meet turnover target
Full P&L responsibility
Business development
Development of client relationships
Recruitment of key personnel.
Drive quality and process improvement.
Pricing and tendering; construction delivery
Commercial control through ensuring a robust cost control and valuation process
Local buying (with centralised support)

Skills and Qualifications

Experience in either an MD role or as an Operations Director / Construction Director / Regional Director / Commercial Director within a residential groundworks company or large housebuilder.
Track record in engaging and leading large teams
Extensive local and sector knowledge
Exceptional negotiation, leadership and communication skills are required
Excellent commercial acumen and strong financial and business skills are essential for this role.

Remuneration

Our client is offering an industry leading remuneration package, the salary is dependent on experience, plus a generous performance related bonus, car allowance with potential for right candidate to become a shareholder.
