Nicholas Associates are excited to be working with a manufacturer based in the heart of Hull.

We are looking for electrically biased maintenance engineers on a full time permanent bases.

The working hours are 3 on 3 off, 2 on 2 off and are a mix of days and nights.

The company require the successful candidates to hold 17th or 18th edition and must be qualified to degree standard.

The role will focus on maximizing efficiencies by ensuring manufacturing downtime is minimized by continuously striving to improve the equipment to meet the operational needs of the business. As an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will resolve engineering issues and will be involved in the commissioning and implementation of new equipment at site. You will have to be able to provide a rapid response to breakdown situations and utilise time effectively to ensure known jobs are completed in a succinct timeframe.
Requirements, experience and person specification
- Have experience of FMCG (preferred), worked within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Be qualified to HNC/NVQ Level 3 in any engineering discipline
- Be Electrically biased or fully multi skilled
- Be health and safety conscience (qualifications are desirable)
