The basics:

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Position: Permanent

Location: Sandbach

Pay: £49,000 - £56,000 DOE

Hours: Panama Shift (Days Only - 12 hrs): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off

Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays

Holidays: 22 shifts.

Overview:

Working for a large scale manufacturer, we now require a site-based Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

  • To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
  • PPM's

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time served apprentice trained or above
  • Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
  • An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given - the company provide electrical courses offsite)

Commutable from:

Sandbach, Crewe, Nantwich, Winsford, Alsager, Kidsgrove and surrounding areas.
