Role : Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
Location : Rotherham
Salary : 32,000 + 6.25% SA

NO NIGHTS ARE INVOLVED IN THIS ROLE

Shift Pattern :

One Week of Days: Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 15:00 and Friday 07:00 - 14:30
One week of Early shifts: Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 14:00 and Friday 06:00 - 13:30
One week of Late shifts: Monday - Thursday 12:00 - 20:00 and Friday 12.00 - 19.30

Area's of responsibility

• To maintain and repair equipment relating to plant services, including daily monitoring of air compressors, dryers, fitters, air receivers and vacuum pumps.
• Recycling plant area - conveyors and crushing
• Comply with working method operating procedures
• Complete relevant documentation as requested
• Water cooling systems, pumps, pipe-work and heat exchange, and cooling towers

Knowledge and Skills

• Maintain spare parts stocks for plant equipment
• General workshop and fitting skills
• Welding / fabrication, gas welding and arc welding
• Pipework installation and maintenance - steel, galvanized
• Working with contractors when servicing equipment
• Carrying out PPM routines

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained maintenance fitter
• Electrical experience - desirable
