Position : Maintenance Engineer - Multi-skilled or Electrical bias

Nicholas Associates Group is recruiting on behalf of a long-standing client for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join a longstanding successful FMCG manufacturer in Scunthorpe.
This role is for an electrical biased engineer, with the responsibility of repairing equipment breakdowns. The ideal candidate will be proactive in continuous improvement and planned maintenance programmes for all site equipment and processes.
The hours of work are a 4 on 4 off shift system.
Key Duties
Identify and rectify as efficiently as possible any faults on the production process in line with current health and safety legislation.
Carry out planned routine maintenance tasks across the site and rectify any issues found, if time permits.
Report any outstanding issues to Area Manager / Maintenance Manager for an assessment of consequences and completion plan.
Responsible for the quality of information recorded in the shift log and effective communication at shift change.
Carry out routine equipment installations as required and be involved in or be familiar with any project plans for the installation of new equipment
Required Skills & Qualifications
Apprenticeship or equivalent tech training (Mechanical)
Min 3 Years in FMCG environment
Working knowledge of Pneumatics/Hydraulics and Conveyer Systems
Trained in Health and safety Regulations
17th edition or 18th desirable
