Salary : 25-30,000 negotiable according to experience

Monday to Friday days
Mechanical bias preferred but any electrical experience is beneficial.
Experience of the maintenance / repair / refurbishment of mechanical equipment (machine tools) essential
Responsibilities:
As part of a small team, cleaning and stripping production machinery in a workshop environment
General housekeeping
Able to work to extremely high levels of health and safety
Fault-finding, stripping, cleaning and re-building of production machinery
Preparing production machinery for demonstration or sale
Delivering production machinery to site
The use of slinging techniques, overhead cranes, pendant controls, fork trucks - certification courses will be provided
Requirements:
Ambitious and keen to develop further skills in fault-finding, service, repair, maintenance of production machinery such as lathes, milling machines, borers, turret mills, press brakes etc.
Able to take instructions and then to work without supervision
Able to travel and spend occasional nights away from home when necessary (infrequent)
Able to work to extremely high levels of health and safety
