The basics:

Job Title: Machine Operative - production

Role: Permanent

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Port Talbot

Pay: £34,367 + overtime available = earnings of £37,000 and upwards achievable

Shift: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am (you would work the afternoon shift after your night shift)

Benefits: 24 days + 8 bank holidays, company pension, cycle to work scheme etc.

Overview:

Working in first class manufacturing facilities for a company that have production sites across the world we now require an additional Machine Operative to join the team.

This is a permanent role employed directly with the company who can offer stability due to the products that they make and real training and progression.

Role Overview:

You will play a key role in supporting production by operating the machinery carrying out quality duties, adjusting/replacing tooling and carrying out general manufacturing requirements in a fast pace production environment.

The ideal candidate / Machine Operative may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Previous experience in a fast paced production environment, operating and machine minding automated machinery.
  • Competent with computers to a basic level
  • Good attention to detail
  • Physically fit
