Role : Lead Project Engineer
Salary : 30,000 - 60,000 according to experience
Sector : Turnkey multi-disciplined projects

Location : Office is based Goole although some home working may be possible with agreement
The site is on the M62 corridor and is commutable from Leeds, Wakefield, Pontefract, Castelford, Doncaster, Rotherham, parts of Sheffield, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Hull, York

About You :-

Must be degree qualified in a relevant engineering subject this could be Structural, Civil Engineering
Experience using software packages such as 2D and 3D CAD ( Solidworks, AutoCAD, Inventor )
Good understanding CFD and heat transfer / thermodynamics
Experience of calculating energy requirements
Any experience of static or dynamic load calculations
Good understanding of psychrometric or hygrometry calculations would be beneficial

About the role : -

Reporting to the Head of Engineering the Lead Project Engineer will play a key part of the design team. This role requires you to oversee all daily integrated engineering activities providing detailed design engineering as well as working closely with the sales and estimating teams. You will need to support the site operations team and be able to make informed decisions on all matters.

Duties and Responsibilities :-

Provide concept designs either through the sales team or directly with the client.
Create or critique detailed written specifications with drawings for overall projects
Liaise with other engineering teams to provide comprehensive design packages
Visit sites to carry out surveys to enable accurate designs to be prepared
Research new suppliers for lighting and other systems and consider integration engineering possibilities
Resolve problems and issues on site as thy occur to fully support the operations team
Review as designed costs against budget and forecast as required
