Position: Key Account Manager - Aftermarket, Spares and Repairs

Location: South Yorkshire based. Covering UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia

Salary Package: Basic c £50,000-£65,000 plus car and benefits. Bonus on overachieving budget

We're looking for a driven and relationship-focused Key Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of customers across the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia.

In this role, you'll spend around 80% of your time managing and developing existing accounts-ensuring customers continue to rely on you for their spares and aftermarket needs. The remaining 20% will focus on identifying and converting new business opportunities within your territory.

This is a field-based role, with your base in South Yorkshire. You can expect to be on the road 3-4 days per week, working closely with customers on-site.

While the sales process isn't highly technical, a background in mechanical engineering, metals manufacturing, or a similar field will be a strong advantage. Your customers will include engineering, maintenance, factory, and site managers-so this is a hands-on role where you'll be comfortable working in practical, industrial environments.

About You

  • Proven experience in a similar role (Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, or Business Development Manager) within engineering or manufacturing
  • Qualified to HNC level in a technical or business discipline
  • Willing and able to travel across the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia
  • Comfortable using CRM systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commercially astute with a proactive approach to business development
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities
  • Full UK driving licence
