Position : IT Support Technician

The IT Support Technician will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of all computer workstations and associated software within the work premises. They will also be the main point of contact for employee who are experiencing computer issues.
Duties:
First and Second line support for all hardware, software, and any other associated IT equipment, and logging issues in the IT Helpdesk.
Assist with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software.
Provide solutions to technical problems for customers over the phone or via email.
Identify client issues by performing diagnostic tests and troubleshooting.
Deliver customers with accurate information on IT products and services.
Implement technical procedures effectively whilst addressing customers' problems to minimize downtime.
Perform assessments to ascertain the requirement for changes in software/hardware configurations.
Provide IT solutions to customers in non-technical and comprehensible terms.
Produce reports to update management on IT support operations.
About you:
Able to manage stress and meet deadlines.
Must have an appreciation of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to technical novices.
Strong sense of prudence and discretion required.
Communication Skill: IT support technicians can use clear language and expression to provide technical support to clients.
Experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
Experience on current network operating systems
